Loans and finance for dental treatment – dental implants, cosmetic dentistry and any other dental treatment you may need.

Let’s face it: dental treatment is not always cheap. A single dental implant can cost over £1,000 and a full smile makeover can cost in the region of £10,000 and upwards. Like with anything most people cannot afford to pay this cost all upfront, there is a wide range of finance options available to help spread the costs of your dental treatment into monthly payments. You can now take out loans; alternatively at Ocean Dental we have teamed up with Medenta Finance Limited to offer a dental finance package over 12 months, 24 months and even up to 5 years for more extensive treatments. Depending upon the

Who can benefit and am I eligible?

Just about anyone over the age of 18. You don’t have to belong to a private plan. You don’t even have to be a regular visitor to the dentist.

Before you are approved for dental finance or loan for your dental implants or dental cosmetic treatment, you will need to go through a series of credit checks carried out by our finance provider Medenta Finance Limited. Approval is usually based upon your previous credit history and your income. You will need to bring proof of your address (two utility bills or bank statement) and identity (passport/driving license).

How much can I borrow?

Dependent upon facility you can borrow typically between £350 and £50,000. This will be subject to an on-site credit application at our dental practice. Most patients’ applications are approved there and then, so you can go ahead and schedule treatment immediately. But in some instances the decision to offer credit is referred to an underwriter for decision in which case the treatment will be put on hold.

Who pays the interest if it’s 0% finance?

Finance companies don’t loan money to people for free so there must be interest to pay on the amount borrowed. This interest will be paid by us as part of an incentive for you to accept the treatment. However, if you pay for your dental treatment upfront in cash then we may be able to offer a discount.

What if I cannot afford to pay for treatment over 12 months?

Whilst on occasions we offer interest-free finance on dental treatment, such as dental implants, over a period of 12 months; however, if you want to spread your payment over a longer time frame, such as 3 to 5 years, to make your monthly payments smaller, we can offer this option by charging a small level of interest. We would provide full details of the cost of this before you commence with your treatment.
